Time to Upgrade your Dinner!
Salmon anyone?
Salmon is loaded with protein and healthy fats the body needs to stay fueled! Plus, it fits right into the Linked Fit Motto, it's simple, easy, delicious, and nutritious.
We wanted to bring to life a quick 3 ingredient marinade to take your salmon to the next level:
Garlic
Liquid Aminos
Sweet Chili Sauce
Liquid aminos are a great substitute for the traditional soy sauce. Liquid aminos contain less salt, have a milder flavor, and tend to be slightly sweeter, compared to soy sauce. Despite having less sodium, still, be conscious of the amount of liquid aminos being used, as the sodium level is still on the high end.
The sweet chili Thai sauce can be found in any local grocery store! It adds a sweet, yet savory addition to any Asian inspired dish. It' makes the perfect glaze when combined with the garlic and liquid aminos.
To put this dish together all you need is a bowl to mix the marinade ingredients together and the salmon. It's not required but it does help to let the salmon sit in the marinade for at least 30 minutes to an hour. This helps the salmon to absorb all the flavors!
Once marinated transfer salmon to a baking dish. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for about 15-20 minutes depending on the size and thickness of the salmon. Another way to cook the salmon is with the broiler. Broil for about 5-10 minutes, if preferred. After salmon is cooked to the desired liking, let cool and serve with rice and veggies.
It's as simple as that, just 3 ingredients to take your dinner to the next level.
ENJOY!
