You heard right! Let's be honest you can't go wrong with the classic grilled cheese sandwich, after all, it's a classic. Hot melted cheese between two perfectly grilled pieces of bread, maybe a side of tomato soup, what's not to love?! Not only that, grilled cheeses are so quick to make, and make the perfect lunch if on a time crunch or just looking for some comfort food.
We wanted to take this classic and turn it upside down, giving you two of our ultimate grill cheese upgrades!

Use good bread: Pretty much any bread will work though
Use enough cheese: Don't skimp out on the amount of cheese added
Try using mayo instead of butter
Try using different cheeses and cheese combos
Don't be afraid to add other fill-ins between the cheese, apple slices, veggies, or other proteins
Use a lower heat to grill your sandwich
Start cooking the sandwich with the top piece of bread off and a lid covering the pan

For this version, make extra veggies. These extra veggies can be used for more sandwiches or other meals. The more veggies the better! You can also try using different veggies, spinach would be great here too!
