Cozy Up to This Delicious Salad!
The season of fall is full of cozy and comfy. From oversized sweaters, donuts and cider, and pumpkin-flavored everything, fall embodies all the things that make us smile!
When we think of cozy and comfy foods associated with fall, our minds generally go to the overly processed and high-calorie foods, like donuts, pumpkin and apple pies, stuffings, and all the other overly filling holiday foods. As delicious as these foods are, they are not always the most nutrient-dense. Of course, enjoy all of these foods in moderation, but there are plenty of healthier and more nutrient-dense ways to prepare some of these comfort foods to keep you fueled and cozy during these chilly months.
We bring you the Festive Fall Salad! Salads sometimes can be associated with being boring or lifeless, because many feel like they have to eat minimal food in order to lose weight. Our bodies need fuel! There's so much more to salads than lettuce and dressing. These bland and lifeless salads just leave you feeling hungry 10 minutes later. A good salad should have body to it and look like a full meal. And this Festive Fall Salad is far from boring, it's packed with fall gems to fuel your body with all the nutrients it needs to keep you feeling satisfied! Plus, salads are quick to put together and are easy to meal prep with.
Here's What You Need:
