Fajita Night Might Look a Little Different These Day!
This recipe has it all! We've combined noodles, fajita veggies, plus all the flavors to create the most delicious casserole. We love being creative with our casserole dishes. Casseroles can open many doors to new flavors and food combinations.
Grocery List:
Bell pepper
Onion
Olivie oil
Taco seasoning
Homemade or 1 taco seasoning package
Sour cream
Pasta noodles of choice
Shredded cheese
Protein of choice
Ground beef
Ground turkey
Shrimp
Shredded chicken
Homemade Taco Seasoning:
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
A pinch of red pepper or 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
While this recipe is incredibly simple and easy to put together, it does require a little bit of prep work. You'll have to boil the noodles, saute the veggies, cook the protein, and then you can mix everything together and pop it in the oven. We would recommend getting the water for the noodles boiling first, and while the noodles are boiling you can saute the veggies. When the veggies are done remove them from the skillet and use the same skillet to cook your protein. When to cook the protein really comes down to what type of protein you are using, so you might need to cook the protein first, just depends. Always looking for the most time-effective process!
